More than 40 major plans across the United States offer the Healthways SilverSneakers Fitness Program as a part of their Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplement and group retiree plans. In addition, a wide spectrum of educational opportunities, speaking engagements and social activities are available the SilverSneakers® members at the Ross JCC.

Silver Sneakers Classes
SilverSneakers I - Muscular Strength (B,I,A)
Increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance; and a chair for seated and or standing supports.
SilverSneakers II - Cardio Circuit (I,A)
A more intense SilverSneakers workout, including standing non-impact choreography designed to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance with standing upper body strength work.
SilverSneakers Yoga (B,I,A)
Move the whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
