JCC 19th Annual Book Festival
Calling all Book Enthusiasts!
Stay tuned for the announcement of the 19th JCC Book Festival, starting Fall 2013. We are currently developing an exciting season filled with authors that will make you laugh, question, wonder, learn and feel inspired. Programs are designed for all ages, in locations from intimate settings to parks and grand ballrooms for our annual book luncheon that kicks off each season.
During 2012 – 2103, books ranged from The Last Great Senate of the 60’s and 70’s to what makes something funny as told by David Misch in Funny: the Book. From stories of building character and wisdom through life’s many challenges as demonstrated by Kati Marton in Paris a Love Story and Jonathan Tropper in One More Thing before I Go to beautiful historical novels as told by Pam Jenoff in The Things We Cherished and Anna Funder in All That I Am, there will be an array of author events from which to choose.
Cultural Arts When the Mandel JCC opens, look for exciting new cultural arts offerings including art shows in the Bente and Daniel Lyons Art Gallery, live broadcasts from the 92nd St Y, performing arts broadcasts and a JCC Book Club, just to name a few.
Check back here this summer for event announcements, and be sure to follow us on Facebook to stay current on the latest Mandel JCC news.
